1. Membership
Your membership is conditional upon being at least 21 years old, unattached, no longer living at the same address as a former partner and providing us with true and accurate information relating to your personal circumstances. Whilst all our members for matchmaking services are interviewed, and ID verified, we accept particulars given to us in good faith. We advise you to verify particulars of others for yourself and we cannot accept any liability for the validity of information provided. We are not able to carry out police checks on members and you should always take sensible precautions with interactions, particularly when arranging to meet someone. You are entering into a binding contract based on these terms and conditions on the date we receive your payment, notwithstanding whether or not you have signed an agreement. Any matchmaking services, holiday, seminar, coaching, activity or event bookings made by you with us are subject to these terms and conditions.
2. Payments and payment terms
The price payable for services is as set out on the Membership Agreement supplied and is inclusive of any applicable purchase tax the current rate, if applicable. We will take payment upon receipt of your order. We accept no liability if our services are delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details if paying by debit or credit card or if for any other reasons your payment has not been received. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the services from you, then we may refuse to process your order and/or suspend any further services. This does not affect any other rights we may have.
3. Matchmaking
Should your service include pro-active matchmaking on your behalf, your matchmaking will get underway when you have confirmed your approval of your profile and we have all the necessary documents from you. Your service may include relationship coaching or other services associated with dating, as detailed in your Membership Agreement. If so, it is your responsibility to request us to organise these associated services at a time convenient for you during your membership service.
We will send you our recommendations of others on a one at a time basis whilst you are still seeking a partner. We reserve the right and absolute discretion to recommend others to you who we consider might be acceptable to you, notwithstanding that prospective partners may only match your partner preferences to a degree, as this approach has proven successful for many of our clients.
The number of recommendations we can offer to you will depend upon your own characteristics and upon how narrow or otherwise your partner preferences are. You accept that having more restrictive partner preferences will limit the number of recommendations we can offer you and we cannot accept any responsibility for the outcomes of our recommendations. We guarantee to provide you with at least the number of recommendations if specified, in your membership agreement, and if these are required in your search to find a new partner. This guarantee is subject to there being no significant change in your circumstances or partner preferences that is likely to make matchmaking significantly more difficult / impossible. We will fulfil our guarantee if required, even if where necessary, we need to extend your period of service.
Where you have found a partner, the matchmaking service will be suspended and can be reactivated again if you advise us that you are no longer in a relationship and where there is still service available within your agreement. As a courtesy to all members, we will not offer you further recommendations when you have already accepted a recommendation from us and both parties involved have agreed to exchange contact information. It is your responsibility to let us know whenever you are again free to receive another recommendation.
Our matchmaking may include sourcing beyond our current membership through the resources of our headhunting facility and some prospective partners who we recommend to you may have been retained through these means. You agree that we can share your approved profile with other dating agencies we liaise with who also ID verify and interview members, solely for the purposes of our headhunting potential partners for you. All those we recommended to you through our matchmaking service from whatever source, will first have been ID verified and interviewed. Should your matchmaking service include advertising, you agree we can share / disseminate agreed information about you solely for the purposes of advertising for prospective partners for you.
4. Conduct requirements
You accept that we cannot be responsible for your interactions with others or for the conduct or actions of others we introduce you to. We cannot arbitrate in any disputes between you and anyone we have introduced you to.
You promise and undertake not to do any of the following, and understand that should you break this undertaking, we may take action including but not limited to termination of your membership at our sole discretion and without offering any refund:
i) harass or cause a nuisance, inconvenience, distress or anxiety to any person we introduce you to or to any employee or agent of this Company or of Dating Options Limited or its subsidiary /associated companies, or contact such persons following a request not to do so;
(ii) violate the privacy or other rights of any employee or agent of this company or Dating Options Limited or its subsidiary companies or person you are introduced to by us as part of our service, including but not limited to, forwarding, distributing or displaying emails, personal data, profiles or photographs;
(iii) act in an abusive, threatening, harassing, obscene, libellous, offensive, sexist, racist or discriminatory manner towards any employee or agent of this company or Dating Options Limited or its subsidiary/ associated companies or person(s) you are introduced to by us as part of our service;
(iv) do anything which restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the services;
(v) impersonate another person;
(vi) supply us with any photograph or other material the rights to which are owned by any third party unless you have their written permission for such photograph or other material to be used for this purpose;
(vi) promote or appear to be promoting your own products or services to any employee or agent of this company or Dating Options Limited or its subsidiary/ associated companies or person(s) you are introduced to by us as part of our service; or
(vii) do anything that deliberately or recklessly prejudices or damages the reputation of this company or Dating Options Limited or any of its subsidiary /associated companies.

We are under a legal duty to supply services that are in conformity with this contract and in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (the Act).
6. Confidentiality
You must not discuss or show any details of other members that we have supplied to you, to any other members or non-members at any time during or after your membership. We will hold your details in the strictest confidence and abide by the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR. Please refer to our current Privacy Policy displayed on our website for further information on how we protect your data.
As our contract is with you our client, we can only discuss your membership with you personally and we will only pass on your contact details to others with your permission. You agree not to disclose any of your membership experience or the identity or personal information of any others we introduce you to, or to anyone including any media outlets or shared anywhere online or any website without the explicit permission of both us and of the other party(s) concerned.
Should you choose to attend any events through your membership you agree that we and our successors and assigns have non-exclusive, royalty-free rights and perpetual license to use, distribute, display and reproduce any photograph or image that may include you from such events.
7. Suspending Membership
Should you experience the onset or exacerbation of a serious condition or suffer a serious injury, then at the company’s sole discretion, matchmaking memberships may be suspended for up to 1 year if you let us know at the time of onset. Additionally, your matchmaking service can also be suspended by you if detailed in your membership agreement. Periods of suspension are each for at least one month and it remains your responsibility to inform us if you would like to reactivate your service. If you have not responded to our communications or we are investigating some aspect of your membership, your service may also need to be suspended. If you are charged with a criminal offence your service will be suspended, awaiting outcome of any potential prosecution.
8. Terminating Membership
We have the right to terminate your membership in the following circumstances where:
You have breached these terms and conditions
You have failed to maintain contact with us or not responded to our contacts for a period in excess of 6 months
You have provided false information to us
We have received a serious complaint about you which in the sole opinion of our Managing Director, is justified
Your personal details or partner preferences have changed significantly. This would include but is not limited to: a change in your sexual orientation; the acquisition of a criminal record, relocating to another country or to Northern Ireland or other significant changes which will significantly adversely impact our ability to provide the service
For the avoidance of any doubt, in the event of a termination of this contract no refund will be applicable unless we have breached these terms and conditions or your consumer rights. You will not be entitled to any refund for any other reasons other than your legal right to cancel within 14 days of when this contract commences, and this includes but is not limited to, the formation of a lasting relationship before the expiry date of your membership with us. This contract is for the maximum service term detailed on your membership agreement if that is required, with no refund is applicable for early termination.
9.Right to Cancel
Your contract with us commences on the date that we receive your first payment. The Consumer Contracts Regulations (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) 2013 apply and you have the legal right to cancel this contract for any reason within 14 days of the date that your contract commences, (the Cancellation Period). You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The Cancellation Period will expire after 14 days from the date that your contact commenced. These rights to cancel are not applicable to any leisure activities including events/holidays.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
10. Effects of Cancellation
Within the Cancellation Period if you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
If you require us to begin services within the Cancellation Period, we require you to make an express request to do so. In such cases, your right to cancel continues until either the end of the Cancellation Period, or the completion of the services, whichever is earlier. If you cancel during the cancellation period, we may charge you for any services provided up until the point when we receive your cancellation notice and will provide a partial and proportional refund accordingly.
Specifically, the following deductions from your refund will be applied where applicable: a home/office-based profiling consultation, £250 plus any consultant’s travel costs, or £150 for a skype or telephone-based profiling consultation; your profile drafted £150; data entry, initial searches and administration following your profile approval, £100; headhunting service initiated if applicable, £250, relationships coaching or other associated services £75 – £250. Photographs if applicable, up to £250.
11.General
We may assign this contract for operational reasons or in connection with a business transfer or reorganisation. Otherwise, this contract is non-transferable. This contract is subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from this contract. If any provision shall be found by an English court to be unenforceable or invalid this shall not affect other provisions within this contract and all other provisions not affected will remain in full force and effect. Nothing in this agreement is intended to, nor shall it confer rights on any third party. Severability: if any provision in these terms and conditions is deemed to be illegal, unenforceable or invalid for any reason, it shall be deemed to have been struck out and the remaining provisions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable. Your use of our services is solely at your own risk and we do not accept any liability for any loss, damage, claim or expense, whether direct or indirect and howsoever caused, arising out of your membership and/or your use of our services or reliance upon advice or information provided by us. All warranties in respect of the service and /or such information, whether express or implied, are excluded.
